Initially, the program was strictly for toddlers through elementary school students. For the past several years, the program was expanded to offer something for everyone including adults.
Unique to our library is the Educational Center, which provides interactive materials designed for pre-school age through 8th graders. Our curricula cover subjects that teach reading, math, science, music, art, language arts, foreign languages and English as a second language. There are experimental projects in such things as weather, space, science, geography and history. The materials are available to teachers for use in their classrooms, to parents who will work with their children, to homeschoolers, and to all children who want to learn. The Center's state-of-the-art materials include leap pads, many different games, videos, computer CDs, musical instruments and interactive learning supplies.
